TRAKTOR 4 Problem - cannot create stems

I just downloaded and Installed the new version.

I tried to create the stems for a couple of tracks …. after working and almost finishing the job

the status bar show an error in red saying

:"Stems version cannot be created for user ……….. "

What's wrong?

I tried 3 song and only one worked out … the others two I get the same error.

Mhh, can you make sure the stem directory in the settings is correct and writable? Should be under analyzing.

yes it is set… I tried another song and it worked

but with this … and also others.. doesn't work ( see screenshot )

wait … I have an update. It seems Traktor has a problem with the songs in the playlist highlighted on my screenshot named JUNE 2024.

I Tried a few inside that playlist ( the release month ), and none worked.

I tried a few outside that and it worked out. how can this be possible?

yes sure I can and I also created stems of those songs with NUO STEMS.

looking at the screen-shot it seems you are trying to generate stems trough track collection/releases, I think its not possible like explorer node, you must pick tracks from a playlist to generate stems

Problem Solved …. Those songs had a Stupidly long file name….. like … way too long.

It seems that traktor cannot save on stem formats if the file name is too long.

I renamed the files and it works :)

You can do it by right clicking on the song in Traktor and choose Edit. Change the actual file there.

I'm having the same issue, but loading into a deck isn't working, and renaming the file isn't working.

Have also tried reanalyzing, and that hasn't helped either. Tried checking file names, and removing any characters underscores, etc, and that hasn't worked either.

Seems to be affecting about 30% of my tracks

Same issue here, but the solution to change filename didn't work.

So I've updated to the new Traktor 4.0.2 where it states that it helps with memory issues when generating stems. I can only generate 4-5 tracks max before it gives an error message that the current track that Traktor is generating stems for cannot be completed then moves on to the next track I generated a stem for.
