Reaktor troubleshooting: record function won't record?

Hi,

Reaktor 6 standalone, Windows 10 PC.

First ensemble and got it doing something interesting. When I go to record, it creates the target WAV file but it is 0 kb and the recording timer does not advance. It will even prompt me to overwrite the file but it is always empty. Set the sample rate to 44.1 kHz and no luck.

Any suggestions what to check?

    Clicking the Record button is not enough, it only activates the "Arm" mode. For the recording to start, you also need to click the Play button after clicking the Record.

    Also, depending on the ensemble and on what you want to record, it is useful to activate this option as well:

    If you still unable to record, then, there is something wrong with your Audio In/Out configuration.

    By the way, changing sample rate has nothing to do with the recording itself… :-)

    Yes, see that bit in the manual now. I read that section but somehow it didn't register.
