Session Guitarist - Melody costs more money ?

Hey all, I really love playing session guitars without being forced to play a chord or specific pattern style. However the only guitar i can select "Melody" (single notes of my choice) on without selling out more sheckles is Electric Mint - Annoyed face:) .

Why cant i use Melody with my acoutstic or sunburst…. annoyed . com :).

The sounds from these instruments are amaing, and I really am impressed, but i dont want to be forced to play patterns… any ideas ?

Please NI you make some amazing stuff, but honestly theres lots of spoilers appearing, Komplete Kontrol 3 is a mess, and limitations on the instruments are just silly and dont make sense, im not spending 130 odd pounds to get melody on Sunburst or Acoutstic sorry.

Back in the old days, Session Guitarist libraries only featured pattern-based play. Eventually, Electric Sunburst Deluxe was released - which brought user-requested features like a second instrument for melodic playing and more.

But I think it all started with Picked Acoustic, when new libraries had a separate Melody instrument included right from the start.

By the way… If you own Electric Sunburst, you can upgrade to the Deluxe version for $49:

Yeah I had the same experience when I wanted to get some of the new features on my Hyundai Santa Fe, but they insisted I'd have to buy the new model to get the new features. What nerve!!!

By the way, Komplete Kontrol 3.21 works perfectly for me and has from the moment I upgraded to it and I use it daily. In the virtual instrument world upgrades are just a fact of life if you want the new features.

thanks for the comments guys and understood ofcourse.

For the 3.21 upgrade try using it as a VST3 in Reaper, thats when it all goes Pete Tong. Its not really much use without a DAW, and I dont want to buy a different DAW to get it working to be honest.
