APPLE MacBook Pro M3 MAX - Popping Audio on the Kontrol S2 (Sonoma 14.5)
Hey Guys - Bought a brand spanking new absolute beast of a MacBook Pro.
Apple M3 Max chip with 16‑core CPU, 40‑core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine64GB unified memory 2TB SSD storage - running latest Sonoma 14.5 OSX…….
So having problems when my KONTROL S2 is being used, the audio sound is kinda clipping out, clicking sound, like some kind of static popping sound every so often. Happens all the time, if I'm playing gigs on Traktor Pro 3.11.1 17.
Have scoured the internet forums and no dice. Tried Rosetta launch, messing round with latency etc
Any suggestions pretty please - Its driving me mad and running my live gigs each week?
Have been a DJ for over 33 years - seen it all since the days of vinyl. One of the first digital DJs when Stanton launched Final Scratch all those years ago ( vinyl time code and USB 1……please…….)
I am leaning towards learning Rekordbox as that seems to work well.
What can't Native Instruments sort this out? M1, M2 processors have been around a while.
Really looking forward to ANY help you fellow Jocks or Support team can send me ASAP.
(whilst writing this post I have routed the audio via the onboard external headphones and still still being able to utilise the KONTROL S2 functions………HUH…… ultra weird).
