    Yes… ALL your gears…

It will also play your guitar strings and bang hard on your drums (all at once) 😂😂😂

    😂😂😂 quite funny video…

The guy just wanted to make music and was disturbed by Nick’s questions 😂😂😂

Edit: 😶 just arrived to the fateful point: the price! 2800!!! Not interested anymore 😶

    And even Nick…” how much? 2800?…ah…ok…” 😂

the guy in that video, demonstrating the use of the send matrix, is something that is very useful

i've setup something very similar to what is shown in the video, with my maschineJams by utilising, a single page maschine bank to act as a matrix as well as doubling up in other functions as well

but comparing the price… and NI's controller editor being well established, and more importantly being very functional… the maschine Jam holds its place as the top controller money can buy(albeit 2nd hand)

i have no doubt people have likely built templates over the years with matrix sends established

WOW!!! What a way to present a product, such a pro, and the Reliq seems to be hitting all the right notes. Well spoken, informative and obviously he has deep knowledge of his product and what people want/need!! However if rather perform with the Mosaik dude hahaha

The Mosaik dude is the typical engineer: out of this world, living on his own planet 😂. Adorable

Even the price they decided for the device: something that proves they have no contact with this world 😏

About the Reliq: I guess the main difference that sets it apart is its own physical breakout module. All those ins and outs is something you can’t easily replicate

    Interesting musical instrument.

My first reaction was quite similar to what you can read in the comments, but then I thought… it’s actually hilarious how Nick totally fails to listen to what is going on and asks the wrong questions. In that very moment, Nick didn’t understand he was looking at a live performance on a musical instrument (!) and not at the usual wannabe-daw-in-a-beatbox.

Cool and brave offering — and yeah, you can neither save sounds nor patterns, but you cannot do that on your piano/guitar/bass/drums either… which also may cost even more.

I don't think you can blame Nick. It's a bit of an oddball/quirky thing.

Comparing it to an "analogue" instrument, it should at least have a default kit that loads when it's turned on, so you can use it straight away. If you have to load all the sounds one by one before you can play, it's akin to a guitar without strings, where you have to fit them all before playing…

    Django Reinhardt to the audience:

“Ok folks… the concert is starting. Now… just wait for me mounting the strings on the guitar, tuning them… and then… in 40 minutes you can start enjoying the music!”

    😂😂😂

Jokes apart… I think that this will change in the final version of Mosaik. Or… at least I hope, if the space guy will be able to reconnect his genius brain with planet Earth for a second ☺️

At this point, we will be able to enjoy the music made by one of the few musicians brave enough to bet the 2800 bucks on an independent device that will probably be abandoned after one year because too few people bought it

Maybe it will only ever sell in small numbers, but it could inspire something else.

Thomas Edison had the initial idea of recording sound on a cylinder. That concept was improved by Alexander Graham Bell's lab, then Emile Berliner transitioned it to flat discs (records on a turntable).

…then someone finally thought that maybe not making them of wax wasn’t a bad idea… so that they could be used also outside of the North Pole 😂😂😂

    This is not correct.

Kontrol S MK3 was always conceived to be and delivered as a highly capable controller, not a standalone keyboard (e.g. with sounds on board).

To be a standalone keyboard running audio would require a radically altered hardware design, including the internal components.
