How do I fix " Please connect your Kontrol S MK3 and hit rescan " error

Im trying to update the mk3 s88 and i keep getting the same error message. Running on windows 10 home Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045. Fully updated. Any help will be greatly appreciated

    Thank you. I went through the process once again and I managed to update the software. I'm currently enjoying making music with it.

    Maybe I'm missing something, but if it's telling you to connect your keyboard and click RESCAN, you need to connect your keyboard and click RESCAN.

    Are you powering your S88 too?

    @pk the Dj The keyboard is connected directly to the computerand I am also powering it using a usb c charger.

    Which one? What's the power rating/wattage?

    Samsung adapter with a 45W rating.
