problems running native access

Hi there. Here's my issue.

I got the usual message that the new version would be installed upon restart of the program and when I exited and clicked on the icon again, it didn't do anything, even after trying to run it as administrator.

I removed the software, downloaded the latest version ran the install again, and still the same issue.

I then removed nkdemon using theNI Uninstall RegTool, deleted the folders from appdata in whatever locations they were in, deleted the registry keys, restarted my system, ran the installer again, and still, it won't run.

Any ideas on what might be going on with this?

I seem to recall the last time this happened, something about quitting nkdemon which I had done this time as well but that obviously hasn't fixed the issue.

Thanks for any thoughts you might have.
