Should the Mixer Button on Maschine+/MK3 Trigger the Mixer Panel in Maschine Software?

Hey All,

Just getting used to the new workflow of the Maschine+ and was wondering. Am I missing something? Should the Mixer Button pull up the Mixer Panel in the software?

To be clear, the hardware (Maschine+) changes to a mixer view, but the software remains unchanged.

I've noticed when I push other buttons (ie. Sampling) the hardware AND software change views.

No. It's independent, the Mixer button shows the mixer in the HW only, which is a good ting since you can mix on the HW while seeing/doing other stuff on the SW.

To change to the Mixer view from the HW you have to access the Navigate Menu - on the MK3/M+ it's Shift+Variation (NI decided to remove the "Navigate" sub legend from the Variation button on the M+ but it still works while controlling the SW)

CMD/CTRL+3 also does the job.
