ID3 Tags could not be read (after moving to a new computer)

I've seen this issue discussed a couple of years back but am reposting to see if there's any new fix.

I've got a new laptop and moved my Traktor settings across manually. Now nearly every track won't play, I get an error that says 'ID3 Tags could not be read'

If I delete the track from Traktor and reimport it, it plays fine, but I lose my Rating data and of course the import date has changed (which I also use).

Any alt solutions?
