Can Maschine Mikro (mk2 or 3) receive midi information while running in midi mode?

hey there,

Is it possible to send midi information from my DAW to a Maschine Mikro (mk 2 or 3) in midi mode? I'd like to send the Maschine some midi notes from Ableton in order to make the pads leds light up, if certain clips in Ableton are played.

Can somebody confirm that this would be possible with a Maschine Mikro? I looked at Native Instruments Controller Editor and the manual, but I'm still not quite sure. Any help is greatly appreciated :)

yea you can do that, just set in controller editor led on for midi in instead the standard led on for midi out, that on every pad and there you go.
