Help with TRAKTOR PRO 3 + ALLEN & HEALTH XONE 23C. Not picking up timecode 12"

Hello community.

I really hope someone can help. I've recently bought a new Macbook Pro, TP3 and Xone 23C mixer. Given the mixer is meant to be compatible with TP3 and my Technics 1200 decks, it's not picking up the signal of the Traktor timecode records.

Would love to hear from anyone else with similar issues.

Setup is:

TP3, Xone 23C mixer, Macbook running latest OS, Technic 1200 decks, Timecode vinyl.

Thanks,

Without the dvs mod the mixer will only send master and .. fx send back via USB.

After the mod it will send the inputs back and DVS will work. It's just two cables that need to be plugged in.

Xone has an official guide on it:

Did you do the dvs mod like described in the 23c manual?

No, have not done the mod. A rep from NI said those two wires for the Xone mixer are for other functions and only required for authorised repairs according to the manual.

Thanks Lord-carlos. Not surprisingly, this is opposite to what NI have told me. They are useless. If anyone from NI is modding this….prove me wrong. I’m just trying to get to the bottom of things and your support people don’t have the answers. Yes you am frustrated by NI’s poor support.

Definitely not cool. They should have send you to xone support.

I already send a message to NI community dudes.

Can you share with me here the request number in which you discussed this? I wasn't able to find anything about this topic when looking up your email.

I spoke to a rep in Australia via email. I was linked to them via Manny’s the music store where I bought my Xone 23c. I took it in to trouble shoot and they couldn’t get TP3 and the mixer talking. So they linked me up with a NI contact who told me (verbatim) “those two wires for the Xone mixer are for other functions and only required for authorised repairs according to the manual”.

Was it an official NI contact / email address, or was it someone at Mannys who had NI gear experience?
