I want to use some keys and faders of my S8 to control a lighting software via midi. The question is how to delete the factory predefined settings of these keys and faders.

Just map the controls in Controller Manager and check "Override factory map".

Usually Kontrol S8 doesn‘t send MIDI. It can if you set it to MIDI mode. I am not sure if NI delivers a Traktor MIDI mapping for its controllers in MIDI mode. You may have to map everything yourself to make it work.

"Override factory map" does not work, there are no midi data when S8 is in "Traktor.Control S8" mode.

I decide to use an additional Midi Controler for my lighting Software.

I thought with the Global MIDI Controls feature you could send out MIDI to other software. The S8 and D2 even support it natively, so there's no need to overmap anything. Just enable it in Traktor Preferences > Kontrol S8.
