i recently had to reset my Maschine Mk3 and i'm happy to be back up and running, but since i've had to reset it i noticed that i don't have my generated patterns anymore which was very useful in helping come up with ideas so the question i'm asking is how do i get them back or is it something in my settings to where i've turned them off?

Here’s how to do it on the Maschine desktop:

…and here’s how to do it on the Maschine+ (which is presumably the same as on the MK3):

I think this is probably what you’re after :)

Never heard of „generated patterns“. Sounds interesting. Where do you usually find them?

Normally in Maschine when I would choose a sound there would be a few generated patterns in the scene area to help give you ideas for whatever sound you selected but since I've had to reset my maschine it doesn't do it anymore

You've reinstalled the Maschine software then, not "reset" the Maschine MK3 (that's the controller).

Looking at your previous posts, this was all down to you moving "everything" from the default install locations to an external drive, which then broke the installation.

The "generated patterns" I guess then are the example projects and patterns that are part of the Maschine library. You need to install the libraries and expansions separately to the main software (which presumably you've done before).

You may also need to ensure you’re using the +patterns and or +projects buttons at the bottom left of Maschine when loading up a group

You shouldn't have to reset anything, just enable +Patterns in the Group browser while holding shift like @Goldie B said, its what enables loading Groups with their Pattern data.
