Problems with faders and knobs on my S2 MK2

Up until this morning my S2 MK2 worked without any problems. Now, when I try to use it faders and knobs behave strange. For example, volume faders control both deck volumes at the same time. If both faders are at the bottom and i push right one to the top, both volumes go to 50%, when I then push left one to the top both volumes go to 100%. Also, volume faders are moving tempo on deck A and cross fader. Cross fader does on the device does not work. Most of the knobs have similar problems. I have tried device on 2 different PCs and restarted to factory defaults.

What can be the problem?

What happens when you re-install the driver for the S2MK2?

Also check if your OS supports the device. Did you make an update to your OS recently? Which OS and which Traktor version are you using?

I have tried on 2 PCs, both are using Windows 11. Traktor Pro 30.10.1.16. I checked firmware update it said firmware is up to date. Driver is installed while installing Traktor Pro. I installed it on 2 different PCs and I got the same problem.

There may be signal problems from the device to your computer. Try a different USB cable. And stick it in a different slot than before.

Also, upgrade to 3.11.1. It's more stable than the 3.10's and has a few fixes incorporated that may help out.

I would switch it into midi mode and use any midi program to see if it sends double signals.

I use https://www.midimonitor.com/ (Might need chrome) but there are also other programs.

I have tried different usb slots, but I only have 1 cable now. Wen I tried MIDI Monitor, fader sends multiple signals:

I tried MIDI Monitor and yes it sends multiple signals. Moving left volume fader sends this:

    21:40 52:866

    Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2 MIDI

    Control Change

    CC#4 Value 90

    1

    21:40 52:836

    Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2 MIDI

    Control Change

    CC#10 Value 90

    5

    21:40 52:810

    Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2 MIDI

    Control Change

    CC#69 Value 90

    2

    So it is CC#4, 10 and 69.

Can this be fixed? / Any idea how to fix this?

    Weird 🤔

No idea what would cause that besides some firmware error or somehow a short between a bunch of faders. Did you spell liquid on it?

I would try compressed air and fader lube .. because it's an easy and cheap solution. But I somehow doubt it will fix it.
