Traktor not playing on speaker connected to laptop via AUX

Hi! I'm experiencing a confusing issue. I have an HP ZBook, Traktor 3, Windows 11OS, and a minirig 4 speaker.

I'm connecting the MiniRig 4 to the AUX of the laptop, and if I play on Youtube or anything from the OS, it plays via the speaker.

If I go on Traktor, select Audio Device as 'Realtek', which should be the laptop soundcard - it plays on the laptop actual speakers, and does not output via the AUX, and hence the Minirig.

I could not find anywhere where you could choose which speakers to use. Honestly, I didn't even know this was possible. I thought the minute you connect an AUX to a laptop soundcard, it routes sound there. This way I'm able to play youtube on the MiniRig, while simultanouesly playing a track via Tracktor on the internal speakers. Cool that its possible, but I don't want to do this.

Any ideas?

This is definitely due to the settings of Windows and the sound card driver. Take a look at the settings of your sound card in the device manager.

    I hope I could help

    Hello,

some internal sound cards have other outputs for the 3,5 mm output, like realtek headphones or something like that, please try another setting. Additionally it's not a good idea to not use a proper audio interface without a proper asio driver, but maybe it works for you
