Slightly annoying behavior in Komplete Kontrol software

Any time I open an instance of Komplete Kontrol in my DAW (or with the standalone app), it always has the Plugin Chain view visible by default. I have to go to View and unclick it to get more room in the window for the browser or instrument, every single time. (The "C" keyboard shortcut won't work for me, since my DAW passes keystrokes through to the DAW itself.

It's a minor annoyance each time, but it adds up. I'm wondering if there's a way to change this default behavior?

Nope, no way to change, don't hold your breath for QOL improvements like this either, this is one of many changes requested over the last decade but they are still playing catch up on lost features from V2 to V3 of KK so will still be years before any new functionality is even hinted at.

If there is it would have to be an option because I would be 'slightly annoyed' if I had to open it up each time I open KK

I've dug through the options, such as they are, and I can't find anything to set for this.

And yeah, the slightly annoying does add up.

Is this not happening to other people?

I posted this with support as a request for options over three years ago. Still waiting.…
