Cannot Figure Out how to Transfer Previous Traktor License
Hello,
I currently have a very old Traktor Kontrol S2 (that has some problems of its own) however I am trying to re-download Traktor Pro on my new M1 Macbook Air. I used to have it on an older generation 2015 Macbook Pro, and transferred the software over to an external hard drive, however when I plug it into my new computer and try to open it, it says that I do not own the software and opens the demo instead.
Since Native Instruments no longer has a dedicated support email or chat, I am unable to figure out how to troubleshoot this issue or who to ask for help, so here I am. Please include any and all suggestions!
Thank you

Hello traktorindistress, it sounds like you own Traktor Pro 2 which creates this situation, as this is an old product which is not supported with current macOS systems anymore.
Please note that Traktor Pro 2 is not compatible with macOS 10.15 or higher. This is the reason why Traktor Pro 2 isn’t displayed in Native Access; it of course remains registered in your user account.
You can either downgrade your operating system to a lower compatible system (10.14 or lower) or update your Traktor Pro 2 software to Traktor Pro 3.You can purchase an update on following link (you qualify for the discounted update price):

Have you installed Native Access on the new MacBook and installed Traktor from there? If you just copy it from the old laptop it won't work correctly.

When I go to Native Access on the new MacBook and go to shop to install Traktor, it states that I have to purchase it for $59.50 USD. Within Native Access, all I see is Controller Editor, Kontakt 6 Player, Kontakt 7 Player, and Reaktor 6 Player. When I search for "Traktor Pro" in Native Access, nothing comes up. I'd really like to avoid purchasing it again

You need to login with the same account you used before.
Also, do you remember which version of Traktor it was? The current version is Pro 3. If you're using Pro 2 you'll need to enable legacy products in the settings, but it still might not be compatible with your new Mac: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014900358-Compatibility-of-Native-Instruments-Products-on-macOS

Another issue that I had was that I had to recreate my account. I had previously created a Native Instruments account under my email, and can even see previous tickets that I had opened when I had submitted them in 2020 when I had Traktor access, but when I tried to reset my password it stated that my account didn't exist so I created a new one with the same email. Would that make any difference?
I do not remember which version of Traktor Pro it was but I will try to do some more digging.
When I follow the link, it says that I do not have any products. I hope this doesn't mean that I will not be able to recover the software.

You can't usually create a new account with the same email, so it's likely the email was incorrect somewhere. I'd suggest talking to account support and explaining the problem. You shouldn't need to purchase Traktor (or any other software) again. If you have the support tickets and the ticket numbers they should be able to help. You can contact support here - https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us. Log in with your new account so you can submit a new ticket.
