Do I need additional software for Spotlight Collection: India

Hi everyone,

Total newbie here, so please bear with my quesion 🙏🏻

Could someone please advise me whether I need any additional software on my Mac in order to be able to use the Spotlight Collection software? Or is it possible to just install it, plug in the keyboard and play?

You will need Kontakt Player (Free, downloadable from NI website) and if you want to record what you play, some kind of Audio Recording software or DAW.

Hey @klakra welcome to NI and to this Community. Spotlight Collection India is a sample based library, it needs Kontakt, which is NI's plug-in needed to host this libraries: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-7-player/

It is free and it comes automatically with your purchase of Spotlight India. You'll need to install Native Access, the software that downloads, installs and activate your NI products. You can find it here: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access-2/

You can also get Komplete Start, a little suite of free products here: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/bundles/komplete-start/
