Hey guys. At the company where I work, we were using iZotope RX 10 Advanced in conjunction with Adobe Audition and everything worked normally. This week we decided to update the RX to version 11, however, the audio volume during playback is very low. Previously I played the audio opened in Adobe Audition to the RX 10 through the RX Connect plugin and when playing this audio on the RX the volume was the same. Now with version 11 of RX the audio is played at a much lower volume.

I accessed the RX 11 settings and verified that there are now controls to adjust the audio output volume, I adjusted these controls to 0dB, but even so the volume is much lower than in Adobe Audition. Can anyone tell me what could be causing this problem? We would not like to have to go back to version 10 of RX.

@Zeca_PR We didn't have such reports yet.

RX Connect is for sending audio out of a DAW to RX. It doesn’t playback any audio.RX monitor is a plugin that allows audio from RX, to be piped to the DAW on a track.

Audio that is being processed in a DAW may appear to sound louder if they have active plugins on a track. So no matter what version of RX you send the selection to,  it may appear softer since you’re sending the raw audio, not the processed audio.

We’d need to see a video of your set up in the DAW and what you’re doing with RX 11. You should have both RX 10 and 11 still installed side by side. So it would be great to see this comparison you’re talking about.
