Footswitch settings for Maschine + and/or Maschine Jam

Hello everyone,

This my first post and it's a silly question, sorry. I read that you can hook up a footswitch to Maschine devices to control transport functions (REC/PLAY) so i went ahead and purchased a Boss FS-6 dual footswitch and now I'm hooking it up, yet< no matter where I search I cannot locate the polarity requirements. The Boss has switches to change the polarity, which is great, but I don't want to whack my footswitch jack with the wrong type of juice.

Is there a reference manual floating around with this info?

    There's no risk of damaging the footswitch port in this manner. The worse that can happen is the polarity would be reversed, so pressing would do the contrary of what it's supposed to do.
