phases are not matching

Hello!

I have a question about the Traktor software: When I play a piece of music and adjust the track using the jogwheel, a bar at the top of the window moves in the direction of my movement, i.e. forwards or backwards. Now I have the problem that when I add a second track (by ear) the tracks do not run synchronised i.e. not in phase. Only when I also turn the second track in the same direction using the jog wheel and the bars have the same amount, then the two tracks are in sync. my settings are that I have, "snap" and "quant" turned off and sync turned on.  I am using a an kontrol s2 with an xone96.

I suspect that there is a setting for this, but I can't find it. I would therefore be grateful for any tips.Best regards,Lukasz

If you have sync on, they snap to each others others grid on play, even with snap off.

If phase is of, that means the grid is not correct on one of the tracks.

But you can also ignore the grid and change the sync setting to be for bpm only. It's somewhere in the settings. Search for sync in the manual.
