Kontrol MK3 Hardware installation problem
I am really disappointed with the purchase I just made from you. You are obviously not the cause, but an intermediary whose impressions you can give to NATIVE INSTRUMENTS.
When you buy a master keyboard of this type and price, it should have at least some sounds in it. As "KOMPLETE Select" is delivered in all KONTROL S88s, why is it not already installed? For those who want to add sounds, simply download extra. Instead we spend time and when there is a bug or a problem, there is no one left, no specialized technical assistance. Having a piano without any sounds in it, completely empty, is still quite strange.
Also, you had to understand that 2 wires were needed to turn it on. One for the power supply and another in the computer (without any adapter provided) knowing that in the box there was only one wire. You have to understand all of this. No instructions, no explanation. We are not soothsayers.
Waiting for your phone call to resolve this problem because as I told you it's quite urgent I'm going to be on tour (50 dates) and I should play with it, several times, at the end of August.
I am counting on your professionalism to resolve my problem, thanking you.
Sincerely,
Eric Blin / Composer - musician artist

As Maciej already pointed out, the keyboard is a controller, it's the software on your computer that will provide the sounds.

The S88 Mk3 is a MIDI controller and not a piano, it does not have any built in sounds. Komplete Select is a software package which you install on your computer and which works with the controller.
The user manual actually mentions that some USB ports do not provide enough power and in such cases an external USB-C charger is needed. Have you read it?
