Add direct monitoring through speakers on Komplete Audio 6 mk2?

I have bought this interface a while ago and it's been baffling me ever since I hooked it up why on Earth did you disabled direct monitoring through speakers?!

This design decision is really wrong in my opinion and I think all users would welcome the possibility to hear raw input signal through the speakers too and not only the headphones.

So my question is, how feasible it is for you to publish a new firmware which would "rewire" KA6 mk2 internally to allow for this?

Hey @Teekwan Unfotunately this is not something that can be changed by firmware. You need a DAW or audio routing software to have direct monitoring on the Main outputs.

Awww… That's too bad 😕

That way, the sound still needs to pass through the interface and depends of latency settings and whatnot.
Not really a solution…

As I said, that is a serious design flaw I cannot find a justification for.

And on top of that, the interface specs on your own site are misleading, to say the least…

I must say I am very disappointed. 😔

I'll probably need to sell this one and get myself another 4in-4out type interface that does proper Direct Monitoring. Too bad, as this is a really nice interface otherwise.
