Can I use the Maschine+ as a MIDI sequencer?

this is possible, like he shows here + a midi input from your external gear to record from it basically:
he shows also setting the synth as input so you can record from it
Thanks for the reply. I found the 2nd video after posting the question but he's playing single notes.
that doesn´t matter also chords will be records via midi
Please take into consideration that each new group (=track in common sense) added to your project slightly deteriorates midi timing up to condition when its sounds absolutely horrible. Better test before buying to avoid big disappointment as it was in my case.
