Can I use the Maschine+ as a MIDI sequencer?

1. Can I use a synth (MIDI) to enter a polyphonic sequence?
2. Can Maschine+ then replay that polyphonic sequence?

that doesn´t matter also chords will be records via midi

Please take into consideration that each new group (=track in common sense) added to your project slightly deteriorates midi timing up to condition when its sounds absolutely horrible. Better test before buying to avoid big disappointment as it was in my case.
