Beatslicer bug
I've come across a bug in my copy of Traktor - Beatslicer does not work properly... It seems to capture and play back the buffer properly at first, but after a cycle or so it gets out of phase and makes incorrect slices. This is happening even when I set the style to 0 for no slicing.
This bug was coming up a little while ago and I couldn't figure it out, so I shut things down but when I came back it had mysteriously corrected itself. Then yesterday it came back during a long mixing session and has refused to go away - I have reconnected my devices, shut down and restarted my computer, changed the audio device in Traktor, and even updated Traktor (apparently I was behind).
The bug has refused to go away and I'm out of ideas. I can't seem to find any similar reports online. The other buffer-based effect I know of, beatmasher, doesn't seem to be affected. Hoping someone out there knows what's going on
I tried to post a YouTube video but I can't with my new account... It should hopefully come up on youtube with the search terms "Traktor Beatslicer bug"

All tempo based FX use the tempo of the master clock or master deck. Is the track being sliced the master deck (or synced to the master clock)?
You can also map to any key or button the command 'lfo reset' to realign the FX manually.

I was hopeful over the LFO reset, I didn't know about that functionality, but it didn't seem to have any effect.
I had experimented with different combinations of beat sync, tempo sync, master assignments, none of it seemed to change anything. I also reverted to the default macro fx setting and that did nothing. I managed to get a short video uploaded that shows some of the deck and mixer settings and displays the issue.
Funnily enough the bug has corrected itself and I don't know why again. The last thing I had changed was enabling the midi clock, but that's not something I did last time. I do have an Arturia Beatstep connected, I probably should have shared that earlier.

I use this neffect in gtoup mode (before the Beatmasher) and haven't noticed an issue. Does it happen on all tracks?
I can see that the grid is a bit off on the track you tested, BPM issue?0 -
I believe I have some more information about what's going on here.
I had thought that the bug was coming and going, but I think what was happening is that the bug only manifests itself on tracks with BPMs under a certain value. I have been testing it today and the value seems to be around 93bpm where under that, the loop/buffer is cut short, wraps strangely and gets out of sync.
As the BPM goes down the 8-beat buffer gets longer and I feel it must have something to do with that.
I still haven't found any setting or variable that turns this bug on or off. I am close to trying a fresh install, but at this point I am feeling pretty stubborn about figuring out what's going on here.
