I have uninstalled it completely by removing all the files using these instructions at least twice. I am using the latest version of controller editor from NI for Mac: version:

2.8.2 (2.8.2 (R0), Copyright © 2023 Native Instruments GmbH)

When I try to open the app, the application logo shows for a flash second, then nothing happens. I am using MacBook Pro M1, Sonoma version 14.5.

Model Name:

MacBook Pro

Model Identifier:

MacBookPro18,2

Model Number:

Z14X000HRLL/A

Chip:

Apple M1 Max

Total Number of Cores:

10 (8 performance and 2 efficiency)

Memory:

64 GB

I have included the crash report, in case it might help.

It could be because of a corrupted template. Please make sure to delet these files in particular:

    On Windows:

    C/Program Files/Common Files/Native Instruments/ Controller Editor/ Templates

    C/Program Files/Native Instruments/ Controller Editor/Template support files

    C/ProgramData/Native Instruments/ Controller Editor

    On Mac:

    MacHD/Users/Username/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Controller Editor

    MacHD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Controller Editor/Templates

Note: the User Library folder is hidden. To access it, click on Go in the menu bar and press down the Alt key. You'll now find the Library entry in the menu:

    Then reinstall.
