Hello everyone, I am a beginner in using an electronic keyboard.
Can you help me, I would like to connect a pair of presonus E5 active speakers to my kontrol s61 keyboard.
Is this possible?
on which exits?
and with which cables?
if this is not possible how to do it?
thanks in advance.

Generally speaking you connect your speakers to the computer that's running the plugins because the S61 doesn't produce any audio by itself, just MIDI which gets translated into audio in your computer host like Kontakt or Komplete Kontrol.

The Komplete Kontrol keyboards are just controllers, they do not generate audio by themselves, you need a soundcard connected to your computer.

Most computers have the small headphone stick, also called 3.5mm jack. ( I don't know if modern Mac computer have those, check yourself). That can be good enough to start off with, you can always get an better external sound interface later on.

It seems there are different versions of the E5 speaker.

^ This one each speaker needs power and an input signal. You would need a cable that splits off into two.

^ This one only one speaker needs power and audio cable form pc.

Then you could buy an 3.5mm jack to RCA male cable.
