I'm having a dreadful time with the drum mixer on new sessions of Kontakt within Cakewalk. I'm good on older sessions on songs I'd started months ago, but now whenever I open Kontakt (I've tried 5 and 6), I can no longer select a channel in the drum mixer. If I click on Kick, it highlights, and then if I click on Snare, now both Kick AND Snare are highlighted, and so on. But no information below changes - it's stuck on EQ even if I click on settings, comp or tape. As such, I can't change any settings or reroute to different outputs. It doesn't matter if I load Studio Drummer or Abbey Road - the drum mixer acts the same.
I'm up-to-date on my downloads. I tried reinstalling Kontakt 5 and 6 with no change. Interestingly, the drum mixer works as expected in the stand-alone Kontakt 6 Player, but I don't know how to integrate this within my DAW (if that's even possible). Cakewalk is up-to-date as well.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
