Is Your EastWest OPUS Scaling Properly in KK 3.xx Standalone?

Hi, I just purchased EastWest OPUS and was looking forward to using it within Komplete Kontrol to take advantage of the Light Guides on the S88. Unfortunately, the OPUS interface scaling inside KK is completely unusable on my system. I've played with the different zoom levels provided in OPUS but it doesn't fix it. Anyone else having this issue?
Note: OPUS is fine when inside the KK plugin, this issue is only apparent in KK standalone.

P.S.
Actually I don't think that the zoom settings in the preferences matter at all.
I appears as being the OpenGL acceleration that does it . Very sorry about that , I am working a bit too hastily trying to assist you.
What remains is that I do click the icon in top of KK twice to enlarge area and if I think OPUS too big the I just switch zoom to %50 and then back to %75 . (%75 appear to be pushing automation controls too far to the right)
And again , I am in a hurry here , have other stuff that needs doing so this is all rather superficially done :
Anyway , maybe EastWest or N.I. ought to take a look..

Quick fix : When using Opus inside Komplete Kontrol then open cogwheel menu and set zoom at a lower percentage 🙂

Hi, thank you for attempting to provide a solution. However, as mentioned in my OP: "I've played with the different zoom levels provided in OPUS but it doesn't fix it." Look at your screenshot - the OPUS UI is still massively cutoff. If not on the screenshot, then go try it. Setting it to 50% zoom only makes it squished - like looking at it from a distance. It doesn't actually help the situation. It only zooms out the problematic view where it's massively being cutoff. OPUS is supposed to be fully scalable but somehow KK is not allowing it to shine in the standalone wrapper.

Just turn off these zoom settings also (I also turned off the Open GL at the bottom) and eventually click twice at the icon on top in KK before you select tab Play in OPUS :
(Playing a bit more with settings actually can help 😁)

Oooo you gave me hope there for a moment (though I recalled having played around with all settings I could find prior to posting here). I gave it a shot again… however, I noticed that those UI toggles were already disabled. I tried toggling them again but without success. I did notice that our panels are not identical… are you on Windows too? Clearly you found a workaround that isn't happening on my system!

Yes , I am on Windows too . Try turning off the Open GL acceleration also (see screenshot above) I originally forgot to mention. Also I enlarge area by clicking the icon in KK twice to enlarge area prior to select Play tab . Actually works kind of nice for me now :
Might also depend on screen resolution , drivers and what not

P.S. I used Opes 1.4.5 I think when taking above screenshots . But then updated to be better able to assist (confirm findings) for you. So now I have version 1.5.1 .
Immediately after installing version 1.5.1 it were large in N.A. again though I had enlarged the are by clicking twice on the N.A. icon. I then just lowered zoom percentage once then it all worked again also with %75 zoom.
Yes , I am on Windows 10 , 64 bit.

YES! That did it! Turned off the OpenGL Acceleration - which didn't seem to do anything at first but after a restart of KK, it opened up nice, crisp and fully visible at the default 100%! And great tip about using that top button (whatever that icon is supposed to be) in order to maximize space! Thank you so so much! :)
Oh, while I've got you here as a fellow user of this combination of software on Windows - I'm not sure which controller you have but on the weighted KK S88 (MK2), I notice the Glockenspiel patches (LITE and regular) seem to have problematic responses when playing at low velocities. Like theres an obvious unnatural jump - rather than a nicely responsive velocity curve. If you can, please try it out in headphones and report back your thoughts. Otherwise, I'll make a new post. I've contacted EW about it but no response yet.

Thank you so so much! :)
You are very welcome , glad that I were able to assist albeit I were a little hasty/sloppy when trying to assist. But great that you got it fixed 😀

Yeah , the Glockenspiel appear to me as not very responsive not even when pressing harder (I have a S61 MK2 semi weighted keys) , and only when you hammer the keys does it really take and then with a sudden jump in volume, actually not only not good but super irritating when you try to use. Great that you have spotted it and that you have reported it. Let us hope that EW will fix it. Anyway , EastWest being the kind of company they are then I think that there is at least a chance that they will fix it. I reported another problem with some thing sampled with noise on one key of an instrument to another company and I don't think that they will ever fix it…

Thanks alot for confirming the buggy Glockenspiel patch for me. :)
Lastly, have you ever come across this? I clicked the OPUS virtual keyboard icon to get the visible wheels on the left but now I have 2 keyboards showing! (plugin version in DAW)

Yes , it is the same for me. I think that this is intended to give you access to the virtual keyboard also when using any other tabs combinations than "Play - Player". Like e.g. Browse , Perform , Mix .
With respect to the interface size issue then I just noticed that how much space is taken by the OPUS plug-in in KK and which zoom percentage can be used also depends on which library section is opened. (sorry I can not be bothered to have to spend long time experimenting with that now). Also I am sure that it all depends not only on screen resolution but also on which percentage is used in setting of Scaling and Layout in Windows Display Settings.
