Disc space on mac mini m2

Hello all! My major question is, how or waht should I do in order to make room for new plugins? I have a 8tb external drive that house my NI stuff, yet most of the izotope stuff is in my documents folder on my internal drive. What is the absolute best path to combat this? Greatly appreciate any and all info!

    How big is your internal SSD? Plugins are generally best to be kept on system drive (as they take comparatively little space and need to be in specific system folders on Mac), while sample content should be installed on external storage, if you running out of space on internal SSD.

    Only 256g. Nothing bigger was available at the time of purchase. Izotope is taking up over 16g on my documents folder. Anyway to move all that?
