Can I download Kontakt 6.5.3

I have Win 7 which means I cannot access Kontakt 7. I do not wish to upgrade to Win 11 on my old PC which works fine with all my current libraries at the moment. I will upgrade when I finally replace my PC. I have Kontakt 6.4.2 but I need Kontakt 6.5.3 to run a Spitfire Audio Library (Chamber Strings Essentials). Is there a way of downloading the latest version of Kontakt 6? I have checked the legacy downloads but 6.6.1 is stand alone only and not suitable as a DAW plugin. Thanks.

Doesn't sound right to me . I just downloaded the legacy Kontakt 6.6.1 (Player) and unzipped it , and unzipped yet again (installer unzip) , and I found both the Kontakt.vst3 and the Kontakt.dll (VST2 ?) . So sounds to me as if you are doing something wrong ?

I don't think there is a legacy download that is only stand alone. All Kontakt should work as a plugin as well. BTW, you can update to Kontakt 6.8.0 - just use Native Access and download it there

Tomboman & PoorFellow. Thanks for your feedback and help. Yes, you are right, 6.6.1 is loading as plugin but listed as VST3 and I did not see it in my Reaper file register. Now working just fine as far as I can see. Thanks once again. Saved me a lot of grief and frustration :).
