Hello!

I bought Kontakt, than when I tried to install it I have this problem with NTKDaemon "NTKDaemonService failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services". I already tried to start it as an administrator and change the permition to direction but problem is the same. NTKDaemon don't allow you to manage a direction to install.

Does anybody know how to fix it?

You hardly supply any information at all. Computer type ? OS version ? Native Access version ?

I will go with Windows as from your profile page. As it says then you are supposed to have required Administrative privileges on the computer to install .

    Also :

Fixing Software Update Installation Issues (Windows)

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

Allow an app to access controlled folders

block third-party app installations in Windows 11/10 (for how to unblock)

Else in case problems installing N.A. then you might have to uninstall both N.A. and NTK Daemon and then remove all traces of both from both registry and hard drive.

This is assuming that you are on Windows and that you know how to show system files and hidden files in Windows explorer .

    Download N.A.

Then uninstall Native Access and Native Instruments NTKDaemon from your computer using Windows app uninstall . (in case uninstall hang then use Windows task manager to close NTKDaemon process)

Then then run the NI reg tool and double check and if there remove anything Native Access and NTKDaemon ,

Then (if still there) delete the following :

Delete the Native Access folder from %AppData%\Native Instruments\

Delete the nativeaccess2 folder from %AppData%

Delete the nativeaccess2-update folder from %localappdata%

Delete the NTK folder from %ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Native Instruments\

Delete the Native Access folder from %ProgramFiles%\Native Instruments\

Delete the NTKDaemon folder from %ProgramFiles%\Native Instruments\

Delete the NativeAccess XML from %ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center

    Reboot computer ,

Then run the downloaded N.A. installer as an Admin and allow it to do it's setup

Run the N.A. app as an Admin and log in.
