Traktor A6
Hi,
I have Traktor A6 but its on an old laptop that has just died so i have got myself a new laptop running Windows 11.
The problem i have and having looked online from what i see my Traktor A6 is not compatible with Windows 11?
The other problem i have is i had bought Traktor A6 around 2014/2015 and so have looked on the threads to see how i can use the same serial code to install it onto my new laptop - but have hit a brick wall and see there is a contact support option that doesnt work and end up getting nowhere.
All in all, im at a loss as to how i can get Traktor set up and running on my new laptop?
Im sure this has been answered somewhere but i have spent the last few hours trying to find an answer on the boards and no joy.
Has anyone any ideas how i can get this to work and use my serial code to activate Traktor?

Where did you see that the Audio 6 is not compatible? I've just had a look around and it's listed as compatible.
Assuming you registered the Audio 6 when you bought it, you shouldn't need to do it again. It should be listed in your account. Same with Traktor. Presumably you've got a license (if you used it before) so just install it on the new laptop.

I'm currently using the A6 under win 11:
Though just as normal audio device. Have not tested it with traktor yet. But I don't see why it would not work.

Thanks for the reply, ah ok, so Traktor A6 will work with Windows 11, great that answers that, my mistake.
Yes, I still have the original reg and license card when I registered my A6 likely with my old email address but that was pre 2014/2015 and so when i now install the A6 on my new laptop i can manage to install it but its the serial that is the issue as it asks for the serial code - when i input the serial it states it is already registered but i cant seem to get around this. I still have the reg card and box it all came in when i bought it.
The A6 registration doesnt show on my NI account that I have on 'NI access', so i somehow need my previously registered serial that was done using my old email address to show on my current email address and on 'NI access?'
I have tried to find an email contact for NI support but appears they dont have one?
Any ideas/help would be appreciated.

If you created an account ten or more years ago, then that's the one you need to use.
Have you created another one?
Do you not have login details for the old account?

Yes, i created a new one/current account using my new/current email as i have no had access to my old email account for many years.
When i registered the license back then it was done the old way used to register NI products by following the website address stated on the license card. Honestly, it was over 10 years ago so i cannot remember the log on details for that previous old account?
I tried using the same web site address that shows on the reg card but it wont work for obvious reasons being outdated so i need to try to find a way i can transfer the license that is probably linked to my old email address to my current email address i guess, but i cant seem to find a way to do this?
Any further advice much appreciated

Can you at least remember what the old email address was? If you contact support and tell them the old email address and the serial number(s), they can hopefully transfer everything over.

I do remember my old email address thankfully, ill try the online chat tomorrow when they are open as they dont seem to have any email option - thankfully i have all the serial card numbers from when i bought it so i can provide pics of them if needed and even the box/packaging even though i dont have any proof of purchase anymore as it was over 10yrs ago when i bought it so fingers crossed they can help get this sorted.

Well, i got a reply......either downgrade to Windows 10 (nope) or pay for the upgrade to pro 3....heres the reply from NI...
"Please note that Traktor Pro 2 is not compatible with Windows 11.
This is the reason why Traktor Pro 2 isn’t displayed in Native Access; it of course remains registered in your user account.
You can either downgrade your operating system to a lower compatible system (Windows 10) or update your Traktor Pro 2 software to Traktor Pro 3.
Owners of previous full Traktor versions qualify for a discounted update."0
