Hello, I´m new to traktor and got my S2.
Have an MacAir with the M1 and 8mb RAM.

Traktor also newest Version; 3.11.1.17

Cannot connect the controller - on Audio Setup I can only choose MacBook Air

Can anybody help me with this issue?

Best Michael

What version is your S2? If it's a MK1 it won't run with Sonoma. If you're not sure what version you have take a look at this article for some pretty pictures and a troubleshooting guide - https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004559589-TRAKTOR-KONTROL-S2-Troubleshooting-Guide

That's good - it should work then. I'd suggest working through the troubleshooting guide and see if any of that helps.

Hello have tried a new USB Cable, did a new Native and Traktor install - nothing works. Still no connection to the controller - via iPad it is possble but I dont want this Version.

Firmware update is not possible because I cannot build up a connection to the controller.

How do you connect your S2 Mk2 with your MacBook? Direct USB-C-to-USB-B-Cable or are there any adapters, docking stations or USB-Hubs involved? If you connect the S2 does anything light up on it? Does the S2 show up in System Profiler on your Mac? Do other devices work with the same USB port?

Finally I solved this Problem with a new USB-C Cable - it works now.

Two cables did not work; stunning.
