Migration to new OS / Date added?
Hi,
Just migrated via time machine from a 2011 imac running High Sierra 10.13 to a imac pro 2017 running Sonoma 14.4.1
After the migration,
All my Music collection and Traktor pro 3.5.3 303 (mp3) collection have not retained the original date added and instead now has the date of the migration!? I really need that date added to browse specific date range within Traktor and the finder. Need a solution fast.. Can someone please help TIA🙏

I'm not sure if it will help you, but if you've got access to the Time Machine drive, could you just copy and paste (by hand) all the files ? Of course, just copy/paste the whole folder you've got. Or directly import into your app (from the app I mean) the music files that are located on the Time Machine drive…
I never use Migration because of all these absurdities Apple think are good for its users. When I migrate or fresh install, I just copy/paste everything by hand (not the apps, libraries and other complex stuff that install files all over the drive obviously).By the way, I just want to say that the evolution with Apple products is a constant dumberment. I use to plug my Mac and enjoy few years ago, now I need to plan each move and be careful with everything because of the stupidities you just did experiment.
