Hello folks,

You may have noticed that since Borough Chops Expansion the design and art direction of the expansion covers has changed alongside, I guess, with the NI Logo change.
A first attempt was made with Hazy Days Expansion but since then the art direction has taken a complete different direction.

I was curious to gather your feedbacks on this new art direction

Seems pretty cool to me, I dunno. Don't really think too much about the cover art, if I'm being honest 🤷‍♂️

An unemotional reminiscence of the 1970's.

The problem I have with cover art, is that KK3 (and the upcoming Maschine rewrite) can handle larger images, but NI is not utilising this.

Our screens would look so much better with higher res artwork.

@Vagus What is this Maschine rewrite you're talking about
    Sounds interesting

@Schmapps1 I understand your point since it's music, only sounds matter you're right
But images are to me a key selling point, when you see a new product on the website it attracts your eye and bring something special. Look at the nice work made for some of the recent Play series for instance. I have the feeling that Expansions don't get as much love. Perhaps it's because I actually don't really like this new art direction. Well as long as expansions are cool…

Like their GUI's, low Rez and out of date.

I like it. More geometric and minimalist

I fully expect a big update to Maschine software at the end of the summer, because I also expect new hardware. The timing fits with NI's traditional hardware launch timeframes.
