my mic is connected to an m-audio audio interface and it works well in the setting of my macbook pro and on other app like audacity. but i can't figure out how to record on maschine 2. i tried connect it directly into my mk3 but its a condenser mic so it wont recognize it since its phantom powered. So how can i set the input sound on maschine 2. The only option i have is the in 1 L+R etc..

please help.

On the Maschine Preferences>Audio select your M Audio interface, then on the sampling menu just select "External Source Mono" and "INput 1".

You CAN simply use a condenser mic, simple. make sure your output audio cable is going OUT from the Interface and use an adapter XLR/Jack for the MIC INPUT on Maschine. Works perfectly. If your PRE amp stage is better simply pull down the input gain on Maschine signal and USE the interface output control,
