Hi guys, I am trying to setup my Xone:23C mixer with vinyl timecode in Traktor Pro 3.

I finally got the timecode to work, but now I am hearing the timecode whistle from the physical record through the speakers which is very annoying and makes it unplayable.

I am not sure where the problem lies.

My routing is as follows: 2x Technics SL1210MK2 —> Xone [Phono inputs]—> PC with usb cable/XLR out to Focusrite 2i2 interface (which goes to my monitors)

These are my current settings:

Thanks in advance for helping me!

You have to reconfigure your Xone:23C for DVS operation. Just follow page 19 of your Xone:23C manual. The needed internal cables should be supplied with your Xone:23C. If you already followed these steps I have no idea what's wrong.

The 23C has got a soundcard built in. No need for a separate one… Connect your XLR outs from the mixer directly to your speakers.

I found out the solution. My idiot head didn't turn down the gain on the mixer so the literal sound of the record gets portrayed through the main out. Turning down the input gain worked for me.
