Video cards that meet Gtr Rig 6 & 7 requirements

I have been getting the black screen on Gtr Rig 6 and am aware of the suggested downgrade, but haven't bothered yet.

However, when looking to upgrade my video card to prepare for GR 7, it is difficult, if not impossible, to find the "feature level 11_1" spec listed, and we know that Direct X 11 does not necessarily mean "feature level 11_1" is included.

What about Direct X 12? I see specs that also only meet "feature level 11" (not 11_1) requirement.

Even when buying a brand new, super powerful i7 or i9 PC from major retailers like Dell or Lenovo, many models include video cards that do not meet the spec, becuase many customers are not gamers, including me.

It would be helpful if Native Instruments would just come out and tell us which graphics cards support the features needed for Guitar Rig 6 and 7, including low cost options because the graphics cards manufacturers are not very helpful.

Even high profile pro audio customers do not necessarily need to spend $500 extra on a video card for "high speed" gaming features they do not need to record and mix audio and look at a video.

As you have noticed then not even when it says DX12 does it mean that it meet 11_1 requirement.

I wrote this some months ago and you can take a look and see if you find it of use to you.

Prices and selection may already have changed a lot so take what I write in the post as something that will let you have an idea about what to expect of price range to have to invest in even if selection and models should already have changed.

Noisy fans instead of air cooled is not desireable for audio work. Easier to avoid Native Instruments software than buy noisy equipment to run it.

Rather than complaining (over things not directly related to the N.I. software) then perhaps you should specify in the first place ?
