I can’t get traktor to play tracks through mixer it just keeps skipping

    am using tome code vinyl with a pioneer dj 10 if that’s me any help but think it’s a software issue

    What is a Pioneer DJ 10? You mean DDJ-FLX10, DJM-V10 or DJM-V10LF? Traktor Scratch Time Code Vinyls? Or Rekordbox Timecode? Does Traktor play tracks correctly if just push play in the software? What are your Audio Output and Input Settings in Traktor?

    djv10 I meant. Traktor scratch time code vinyls. The tracks play fine through lap top but when playing through mixer the keep skipping / stopping I’ve messed about with both input and output setting.

    Is your DJM-V10 on the newest firmware version? Did you install the latest audio drivers 4.0.1 for macOS?

    If you ignore the timecode vinyl, still have the DJM v10 connected, and press play in traktor, does that work well? Or in other words: does this only happen with timecode vinyl?

    Everything is up to date. It still skips when pressing play but plays fine when through the lap top.

    Does your DJM-V10 work fine with rekordbox? Do you have the same issue with Traktor Pro if you use another audio interface? As I don't own a DJM-V10 I don't know if there are some special settings to be made within the mixer itself or in any configuration software.

    Is there any difference if you increase the buffer size inside Traktor? What kind of USB cable do you use? Is it capable of USB 3 or at least USB 2? Even if did you try another USB cable? Do connect your mixer directly to the MacBook or is there any docking station, USB hub or adapter involved? If yes: Are they all capable of at least USB 2? (Couldn't find any reference if the V10 has USB 2 or USB 3 ports, would expect USB 2 as it is usually fast enough for these amount of channels.)

    Don't have more ideas were it could go wrong at the moment.

    ^ I would also guess the buffer size might be too small / low. Can you take a screenshot of the audio settings in traktor?
