Hi!
i just got a used maschine v.1 (old model) at a flea market for 10€. obviously i didn't had great expectation but since I own a maschine mikro i decided to give it a try!

connected to the USB, the lights do a wave.flash like my maschine mikro but then it remains dead and it is not recognized in maschine software.

I opened it, i found no sign or burns or damage. I used some anti-oxidant spray but the problem remains.

any idea?

i found just one video on youtube suggesting to replace the USB connector.
I don't have a tester right now, but i'll check if voltage is OK at the USB connector...

thansk! :)

You need the guidance of some electronics repair forum for that one. Also N.I. generally do not supply spare parts and what you can get at e.g. third party suppliers usually do not come cheap. You might get/be lucky and fix something like that easily , who knows. But generally you will both need working knowledge of electronics and be good at locating and getting your spare parts for it to pay to deal with (if possible at all to make it pay) . Of course , if one considers it a challenge and one do it for the learning experience then that is the pay in itself 🙂

    thanks, i know the situation!

of course if it's a chip that's broken there is no way to replace it. but i don't see anything "strange" in the board.

Could it be that I have to install the proper driver from the legacy product page????

I'm not at home now, I will try asap!
