GUITAR RIG 7 - COMPATIBILITY

I am new to NI & GUITAR RIG 7. I recently purchased GR7 and immediately hit a snag on installation, I am running an APPLE MacBook Pro with Mac OS 10.7.5 CATALINA. I immediatly contacted APPLE SUPPORT and they informed me my machine is not capable of supporting a more current OS.

What are my options given the above circumstances? Any advice is very much appreciated.

Guitar Rig 7 Pro clearly says in specifications that it requires macOS 11, 12 or 13 (latest update)

Further more then the page Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on macOS will tell you that the last supported Guitar Rig for your OS is version 6.3.0 and also states that that : Note: The Last supported versions require the latest update of macOS 10.15 .

As for version 6 of Guitar Rig Pro then that is no longer sold by N.I. so the only way to get a license would be by buying a second-hand license : N.I. Forum Buy / Sell / Trade

As for the purchased Guitar Rig 7 Pro then your alternatives is rather limited. Either get a computer that supports specifications or ask for a refund by contacting N.I. Purchase Support
