You would need to pay for a SW license I think:

You could also try to contact support with proof of purchase and whatnot, not sure if that leads anywhere tho.

Support will send a mail to previous owner. if no response within 14 dayes, just to bad for you. The one who sold me and s49 wrote to support, thats the support he got. So i cant registrer my kompletet kontrol.

As far as I know then you can still use the unit , you just don't get the free Komplete Select that comes with registering the hardware serial to account. Komplete Start is free all other Komplete Bundles are paid (bought alone or bundled with a keyboard).

Anyway , people in the forum expects a sale to start within a month and usually then bundles and upgrade/updates are %50 off sometime during the sales 🙂
