NEW User-Kontrol MK3
I am a new user. I find the Play Assistant feature very useful and enjoy using chord modulation. What do I need to set up to receive the individual chord tones as MIDI files for later modification? Currently, Cubase only receives the single key that I press. Is this even possible? I am using an MK3 88-Mac Studio and Case Pro 13.

In Cubase add Komplete Kontrol as an instrument. Create another MIDI track and set the MIDI input of that track to "Komplete Kontrol - Event output". When you play a note on the keyboard you'll see the output from Play Assist appear on the MIDI track, i.e. the chord or arpeggio output. Set that track to record while you're playing and it'll record the chords/arpeggio notes.

Oh my God, thank you very much! Sometimes it can be so simple. I like you. Thank you!

I presume this is something that is only possible with Cubase? I use Logic and as far as I can see there is no similar facility?

Don't know if any of this helps ?
Quote janusz_j ; Apparently there is a way to record the Play Assist Chord Sets in Logic after all. Here is the short description
Also there is something called MIDI FX Freeze that apparently some Logic users use !?P.S. Quote Jeremy_NI : Prior to Logic 10.8 this was not possible, it seems that it's now possible. Unfortunately Apple did not mention this feature anywhere and it's behaving strangely with our keyboards, both are recorded in Logic, the notes you play and the notes generated by the arp and chord functions. You can read all about it here: Official known issues with (and features of) Komplete Kontrol 3.0.2 and Logic Pro 10.8

You can use it in any host that allows MIDI routing from one plugin to another. Logic does not allow this directly but a workaround would be to load KK and the plugin you want it to send MIDI to in a sub host Like Newsonicarts Freestyle and do the routing in that
