Essentially the title. Those are the specifications I'm using. However, when I select the audio device in setting as my "macbook speakers" or "external head phone" and begin to use some of the features such as sync or loops, Traktor will crash and the audio settings will revert back to the Traktor controller. This is particularly frustrating as I'm trying to record a mix and can't complete it with this disruption.

The last time I plugged in my controller it prompted me to update my firmware, but when I continued it said I already had the latest update (pic below). Anyone know how to remedy this?

When you use the s2 has the audio device does everything work as expected?

When you use Traktor with "macbook speakers" or "external head phone" but without the s2 connected, does everything work aas expected?

yes, without the hardware I am able to use the Traktor software without issue, I am able to trigger features like sync and loops with the keys on my keyboard

Mhh, might be a hardware defect. Not a problem that I ever heard of.

Tell them everything works fine without the controller connected.

You have to answer some questions and then they let you write a message: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/sections/15449821909021

Does the Controller Editor detects the Unit? There is the MIDI IN indicator that you can use to inspect the controls. This will help you to figure out if the hardware is issue or not (usually it is the USB port that fails first on S2 Mk2)

With the controller plugged in I am able to use the jog wheels, the faders, volume knobs and the software will recognize & act appropriately. It's only when I start to use the sync feature did the audio setting revert back to the controller.

Sorry I don't know how to reply to comments directly, I did just put a ticket in though

Is Traktor 3 actually already 100% compatible with macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 or is it better to stay on macOS Sonoma 14.1.2 for the moment ?

Unfortunately, in this article, they don't precise the versions of macOS 14 Sonoma :-(

    Have a nice weekend
