Hi I’m new to orchestras but does anyone know of a good inexpensive solo viola so that I can make my own quartet from? I have a cello, violin that sounds ok. Thank you 😎

    Why would you need viola?

    Well, there is no high quality viola library on Native Instruments for now, there is only Viola from the Factory Library but it is not the solo version.

    I would recommend composing viola part with MuseScore4 and by downloading Muse Sounds, which contains Solo Viola, which is free.

    Yes I looked on NI. And elsewhere. But I didn’t know about Muse sounds, that helps a lot. Thank you so much. 😎

    There is a high quality Viola library within Native Instruments. Try the Cremona Quartet and in this set is the Amati Viola. However it wont meet your inexpensive target.
