Maschine plus audio interface or mixer/abc pedal

For looping multiple external live instruments one by one are people using an audio interface or mixer/abc guitar pedal? Would one be better than the other?

Maschine plus standalone only has one mic input.

Hello,

you can use a boss rc-505 (or something similar) together with maschine, both synced via midi. I think this is the best solution when it comes to a quick and seamless session, so you can do your things with maschine where maschine shines same for the boss pedal made for adding up loops.
