Hi @galvan @Medstone we haven't had any other users report crashes on FL Studio thus far. Our QA Engineer also verified that everything should be functioning properly when using VST3.

Could you please double-check that you're using VST3?

If the issue continues, best to reach out to our support team directly so we can gather more details about your system: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/categories/360000053737-Product-Support (I saw that one of you has contacted us already. We'll get back to you soon.)

    Yes, I used VST3.

OK, I've created Support Ticket. Its really bad for me, because I have deadlines and currently can't work...

Just want to add data point that same for me, loading any effect plugin after most recent update completely freezes FL Studio. I already submitted a ticket before I found this thread.

I fixed it, but not sure on which side this bug lays - on Fl Studios, or Native Instruments.

After once again checking plugins with Plugin Manager issue still occurs, so I manually deleted this plugins that were causing freezing from Fl Studio broswer.

I go to Plugin Database/Effecs and there find this plugins and delete them.

Then I run Plugin Manager again and this fixed it.

Not sure what causes this, but it seems that plugins were not replaced corectly in the Fl Studio.

Can't even edit previous post, because forum formatiing seems to be broken too…

So it worked for newly created project, but when I try to load old one its still broken - Fl Studio freezes.

    This is really bad.

I just found that when I open an existing project with Replika and it loads completely and freezes, I can still hit play button on my midi controller and the track will play without issue, no lag or anything, and Replika plugin seems to be processing audio fine even though it has caused the UI freeze. The UI remains entirely unresponsive to input from me, but I can see the FL Studio UI elements that are visible (Scope, CPU Meter, Track Time) getting updated maybe 1-2 a second, so perhaps something is greatly loading the UI thread to cause the apparent freeze.

FWIW, I have also confirmed that I can open existing projects that freeze now by using FL Studio Diagnostics to remove the problematic NI Plugins, which is far from a proper solution but at least not all is lost.

    • Copy the project you are doing this with (Good idea to backup first!)
    • Open a new FL Studio instance with no NI plugins loaded.
    • Navigate in menus to "Help" → "Diagnostics"
    • Choose "Fix FL Studio Song Project" in the FL Studio Diagnostic Report Window that comes up (it is the last option for me.
    • Open the copy of the project you wish to fix.
    • Select the option "Remove a plugin that crashes when file is opened" that appears under the file select box, and unselect  "Remove the plugin that crashed when file was saved".
    • It will list all plugins in the project, for me I picked 6 instances of Replika and one of Flair.
    • Click "Start"
    • The project gets saved as "name - recovered.flp"
    • I was able to open the project now without any freezes, issues, or lag, but of course also no delay effect as all replika instances are gone, so this is not a solution.

Well, support decided that they cannot reproduce this issue, so it must be something on my side.

Wonder if anyone else have this issue, probably not really as there are no other people writing about this.

    Strange.

I still have the same problem, can't replace problem plugins eg Replika XT because Fl Studio project freezes when loaded.

This only happened after latest update to Replika XT etc , perfectly fine before.

Tried many things to solve problem ( although I believe the onus should not be on the customer to solve the problem) to no success.

It seems that it is the Vst's and not the Vst3's that cause the problem but as mentioned before I can't even replace the Vst's with the Vst3's because I can't open projects.

Got the same issue. Been using Kontakt Instruments inside FL-Studio of a looong time now, never had any real problems , untill recently…

I load up an empty project, open my mixer, add Raum (Ni Reverb Effect) , and after this you'd naturally start tweaking the knobs to your preference, but nothing works instead. The DAW doesn't respond to any action, you can't click on anything in FL-Studio, everything just doesn't respond anymore (inside the DAW). You can't even click on save or cancel or exit , nothing.

The only way to shut down your DAW is to open up Task manager and force quit it.

I'm not sure if the bugg started happening after updating in Native Access but I wouldn't know any other reason.

I also have to latest version of FL-Studio and I've been working on music for the past couple of weeks with no problem, the only thing I did a few days ago was updating all my stuff in Native Access.

Hopefully they'll be able to target this problem soon.

    EDIT.

I also tested opening Raum inside Komplete Control, and this works without a problem.

BUT when you add Raum to your mixer, everything freezes, EVEN on the display on my Komplete Control S61.

Hopefully you can narrow this down asap, cause it's a very big problem tbh…

    Kind Regards,

    Smyloh

How am I supposed to report it when your online support doesn't even let me choose the plugins I need to report:

Please can you make available the previous versions of your effects so we can finish our projects.

    Same here,

I just picked a random selection of the options to get a ticket.

I have contacted them 2 times, the first time I did get a reply but it was not helpful, and 'our engineers don't see a problem', even though I pointed out other people on here have mentioned the problem , the second time on the 08.05.2024, as yet I have heard nothing back.

I have multiple projects that I can do nothing with, weeks working on the projects and no way of even deleting the problem plugins.

I am just a hobbyist and I realise that I am of no importance to Native Instruments, but this hobby is important to me and I have spent a lot of money with Native Instruments.

I don't believe the onus should be on me as a customer to sort this problem out.

They are quick to contact me when a new product is out and want me to buy it, but when there is a problem they are slow to reply, if at all.

I understand that things go wrong and nothing is perfect, but their indifference to the paying customer is disappointing.

This is not the first time I have had a problem with Native Instruments, and that they have been unhelpful and uncaring.

I have had friends who ask me if I would recommend Native Instruments and it is with sadness that I say no.

    Many thanks,

    Kind regards.
