core table , stereo file in adjacent order ?

Playing around with the core table.

It seems that it automatically puts stereo files in adjacent order , first left ..followed by right

That's how core tables have always done things as far as I'm aware. For playing back stereo files, you could either use separate tables per channel, or do a pair of reads from one table with an offset.
