Pre-listening it's impossible from TRAKTOR 2 PRO with KOMPLETE AUDIO2 ?

    Hello,

    the komplete audio 2 has just a stereo pair of outputs so it is not enough for traktor if you want to pre-listen. You would need a komplete audio 6 mk2 for example.

    Hi Have this answer from NI agent in cha.

    I installed the new KOMPLETE AUDIO 2 card, but pre-listening with the TRAKTOR PRO 2 software does not work.

    The komplete Audio 2 only has 2 channels out. You would need 4 channels out. Stereo master and stereo cue. Support is wrong.

    I sometimes use Traktor A6 (Not to be confused with Komplete A6)

    It's older and only available used, but I can find it for ~60 - 70 EUR.

    If you want to buy new .. I don't know. I use my Traktor Z1 kontroller which has it build in.

    It's strange, with my little TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 MK2 card I can have pre-listening using TRAKTOR PRO 2, with the new cards I don't find this option.

    Traktor Audio was made for DJs in mind. Komplete audio is for .. producers I guess?

    If you are fine with mono, you can get the Traktor DJ cable:

    That will make a single stereo out, into two mono outs. That will work with the komplete 2 or even just the normal mini jack output of computer.

    Even with the TRAKTOR cable I still think you would always hear the same song, while with the TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 MK2 card the pre-listening track was separate from the main out track.

    No, with the cable you set traktor up to send master to the .. left? side and cue to the other side. And the cable will split right from left.

    Ok but with TRAKTOR PRO there is a pre-listening function that you can have on any song you have on the plalist, even if it is not on the right or left deck.

    Yes. That will be send to cue.
